I've missed seeing my kiddos every week and can't wait for our pop-up class! We'll meet Thursday, June 30th @ 10 a.m. at the Rodes Park Community Center for 30 minutes of instruction, leaving 15 minutes at the end for free exploration of instruments and musical props.

Our family class is focused on toddler to early-elementary children, with activities that are easily adaptable to meet the needs of younger and older kids too! A child's musical aptitude is set primarily between birth and age seven - start making music during this precious window of time!

A few of our favorite activities include:

• Singing and learning to match pitch with games and puppets

• Dance and movement to internalize steady beat and basic rhythms

• Storytelling with classical music

• Exploring musical structure with props like and our 20-foot parachute

• Playing drums, rhythm sticks, chimes, and dozens of other instruments!
